LONDON--The global market for liquefied natural gas is expected to continue tightening this year driven as production stalls and Asian demand keeps growing, BG Group PLC (BG.LN) said in its annual LNG outlook.
"In fact, we believe the global LNG market will be tighter for longer than many assume, until the end of the decade at least," said Andrew Walker, BG vice president of global LNG.
World LNG demand is expected to grow at a compound rate of 5% a year to 2025, driven by Asia and Latin America. The rate is twice as fast as for natural gas overall, BG said. |
